Qualifications and Experience
Keren is a Sports Dietitian based in Hexham specialising in mental health, eating disorders, athlete health and performance. With 10 years of experience working for the NHS, she is passionate about making evidence based dietary advice more accessible. She is a member of the British Dietetic Association (BDA) and professionally accountable to the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Dietitians are one of 13 healthcare professions regulated by the HCPC, which ensures rigorously maintained standards of training, professional skills, behaviour and client safety.
Keren is trained in motivational interviewing and behaviour change and is passionate about improving her clients’ relationship with diet and exercise. She also works closely with individual clients to help them make the necessary changes to their diet and lifestyle habits to optimise their physical and mental health. Keren recognises that each client she assesses is different and requires individual strategies to achieve success.
When Keren is not assisting patients with making positive changes to their lifestyle, she enjoys spending her time running and exploring the great outdoors.
