Our core ethos for Keren Chapman Registered Dietitian and Personal Trainer is to help you improve your relationship with diet and exercise to perform at your best. We practice what we preach, and part of that involves setting out clearly from the outset the way in which we will deliver our services to you. If you are planning to join The Chapman Method, (“the Membership”) then you must read these terms and conditions in full prior to purchasing.
Membership Terms: Key Details
The terms cannot be varied and in proceeding to purchase the Membership you will be deemed to have accepted these terms. The terms and conditions set out below apply to the services offered by Keren Chapman Registered Dietitian and Personal Trainer. Please read them carefully as they affect your rights and liabilities under law and set out the terms under which Keren Chapman Registered Dietitian and Personal Trainer(“we”, “our” or “us”) provide services to you, as purchaser of the membership. These terms are subject to any rights you have under consumer law to which we are bound and which cannot be waived by contract.
Membership Outline
The Chapman Method is a membership platform for recreational runners who want to improve their nutrition and hydration strategies to support training and recovery. The Membership is an ongoing commitment where you can get support and guidance to help you achieve your performance goals. The Membership will also provide workouts catered towards those participating in a variety of running events.
The aim of the Membership is to provide runners of all abilities to eat well, train smart and feel better. The information is not tailored to any specific running event/activity or any one person or age group but includes information from scientific journals and papers, clinical experience and evidence based practice across a range of running events/activities and populations. This Membership is for all abilities but is not for those who have specific dietary requirements or those who wish to followed non evidence based dietary advice. Membership Specifics
There are five elements to the membership:
Access to a private online hub and mobile application
Monthly Q&A Sessions (on request)
Weekly recipes

Monthly workout
Question & Answer Sessions
Each month you will get the chance to ask questions about your own training and nutrition and get general guidance and support. All the Q&As will be delivered via Zoom for 30 minutes. Each member is allowed 1x 30 min Q&A per month, depending on availability. Please note that Keren cannot provide individualised dietary guidance. Should you need specific or bespoke support then please contact us to enquire about our one to one services.
Private Online Hub and Mobile Application
You will have access to a private online hub to support you during the Membership. Access is available either online or via the Hapori App that can be downloaded to your device. The Hapori App is supported on both iOS and Android. The intention of the online hub is to provide on the demand access to a range of resources and guidance to support your training. Topics covered include but are not limited to:

Workouts
Sport Nutrition
Presentation
From time to time The Chapman Method may post and offer support in the Hub, but there is no guarantee that posts will be responded to immediately or that any mailboxes will be monitored.
Please be advised that whilst we hope that you will be able to utilise the online hub, we make no guarantees as to the availability of the group and/or the content within the group at any time.
Weekly Recipes
A weekly recipe will be uploaded to the online hub. This will either be an external link or a downloadable document.
Monthly Workout
A weekly workout will be uploaded to the online hub. This will either be an external link or a downloadable document.
Weekly Private Blog Posts
A weekly blog will be uploaded to the online hub. This will either be an external link or a downloadable document.
Behaviour
It is requested that at all times your behaviour towards others is polite and respectful. We will not be held responsible for the behaviour or actions of any other members. Should your behaviour be deemed offensive or inappropriate we reserve the right to remove you from the Membership with immediate effect.
Disclaimers
The aim of the membership is to provide you with provide runners of all abilities to eat well, train smart and feel better.
We make no guarantees or claims as to the success of any member. Each individual is unique and their training and dietary preferences are unique to them. The aim is that by working through the resources and taking advantage of all the elements which the membership has to offer you will have new information, strategies and techniques to optimise your nutrition, training and wellbeing.
You are purchasing a Membership, this does not create a Registered Dietitian or Personal Trainer client relationship, All information provided will be general information and guidance and will not be bespoke advice. We are not responsible for any action or inaction which you take as a result of the information within the Membership. We are not responsible for any loss of opportunity or any investments which you make.
No content in this Membership should be construed as medical advice, whether mental or physical. If you believe that you require medical attention you should seek assistance from a medical professional immediately.
All nutritional information is provided as guidance and specific requirements may vary. If you suffer from allergies then caution should be given when considering the recipes included in the Membership.
You should contact your GP for further information prior to beginning any new workout regime. If you experience chest pain at any point whilst exercising you should stop immediately and seek urgent medical assistance.
Not all workouts shared are suitable for experience levels. If you are new to exercise, pregnant or have given birth within the last six months, or have recently been injured you should consult a medical professional before taking part in any physical exercise and follow their advice.
The Membership is not appropriate for those who have a diagnosis of an eating disorder or have a diagnosis of hypothalamic amenorrhoea.
We ask that all members in the Membership respect the rights of others in respect of their behaviour and privacy. We will not be responsible for the action of any members including for any disclosures made by any members based on information which has been shared within the Membership.
Although reasonable efforts are made to update the information on the membership areas, we make no representations, warranties or guarantees, whether express or implied, that the content provided within our membership is accurate, complete or up to date.
Nothing in this disclaimer will:
(a) limit or exclude any liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence;
(b) limit or exclude any liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
(c) limit any liabilities in any way that is not permitted under applicable law; or
(d) exclude any liabilities that may not be excluded under applicable law.
This Membership may contain links to other sites. These sites are not under our control and we cannot be responsible for any actions or events arising from you following any links from the membership. Links are provided for informational purposes only and should not be interpreted as approval or endorsement by us.
Any comments on our blog or social media channels are not endorsed or verified by us. We are not responsible for the comments on our membership made by third parties. Should we become aware of comments which are likely to be distressing we will remove them from our membership area. Removal of comments does not indicate that any compensation will be awarded, it will not, comments are removed to ensure enjoyment for membership users.
Contact and Schedule
It is the intention that the Membership will run continuously and that any material, live Q&As and live masterclass sessions will be provided as set out above. Should an unforeseen reason arise which cause a session(s) to be postponed they will be re-arranged as soon as possible.
Throughout the Membership we will be available by email Monday, Thursday and Friday between 8am to 4pm via info@kerenchapmandietitian and will respond as soon as possible and within 48 hours during the hours stated.
If you have a technical query relating to accessing the Membership please include “Tech” in the subject line of your email correspondence.
You may see us post on social media outside of our core hours. Not all of these posts are live and some will be pre-scheduled. We are passionate about supporting everyone in the membership and where we can we may respond to you out of hours but we make no guarantees that this will always be possible.
Payment Terms
The cost of the Membership is set at the time you subscribe. On subscription, you will agree to monthly payments via stripe which will be taken on the same day each month.
Privacy and Confidentiality
Your privacy and protection of your personal data is important to us. Your personal data is protected as set out in our privacy policy which can be found here.
We utilise Hapori to manage our communications with you and from time to time may utilise the online marketing platform, Mailchimp and its analytic tools.
During the course of the Membership you may have access to confidential information, in particular the personal affairs of others on the course. In accepting these terms, you agree that you will not use or disclose to any person, organisation or company, and shall use your best endeavours to prevent the publication of, any confidential information relating to any other member.
You accept that any unauthorised disclosure of personal or confidential information belonging to another may amount to immediate dismissal from the membership. Should you decide to leave the Membership then you remain bound by the confidentiality and privacy obligations.
Refunds and Cancellation
It is our aim that you will be completely happy with the Membership and find educational content, networking opportunities and form friendships. However, we appreciate that there may come a time when you wish to leave the Membership.
When you purchase The Chapman Method Membership you obtain instant access to digital copies of documents and videos. You will receive the documents and videos as a PDF document and/or private external link. You can download and save the documents, videos and private links to your device.
As you are purchasing digital content which includes data which is produced and supplied in digital form you are only entitled to a refund in limited circumstances. In purchasing the Membership you are waiving your rights to a refund for your first payment unless the statutory circumstances for refunds are met.
Should you consider that any of the digital downloads are faulty for any reason then please confirm so immediately and a further copy will be provided. Should you have any concerns or questions please contact me on info@kerenchapmandietitian.com
Should you wish to cancel your membership you can do so at any time and your subscription will no longer be charged.
We reserve all rights to cancel the programme for any reason without prior notice. In such circumstance a refund will be provided for the remainder of that month as applicable.
Intellectual Property
During your time as a member you will be provided with course materials. At all times the intellectual property rights and copyrights connected with those materials remain with us. You have the right to use the materials as learning tools but you are not permitted to duplicate or provide copies to third parties. We retain and reserve all of our copyrights.
Complaints
If you have a complaint about the programme this should be made to made in writing to Keren Chapman at info@kerenchapmandietitian.com.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does this mean you are my Dietitian and/or Personal Trainer Now?
No. purchasing the membership does not create a Dietitian and/or Personal Trainer client relationship and the content provided is not to be construed as individualised diet and/or fitness advice.

How are the workouts provided?
The workouts will be uploaded to the ‘Workouts’ section of the online hub. You will be provided with a link taking you to a PDF document with the details of the workout. The PDF provides the name of the exercise, sets, repetitions and tempo and any other relevant instructions. The workouts do not come with videos or images of the exercises, but we hope to offer this information in the future.
What if I need additional support?
Additional support can be offered to each member in the form of 1:1 support or guidance. We are happy to support you as required, please contact us directly, additional charges will apply.
Is the membership suitable for people of all abilities ?
The membership is best suited to those who regularly participate in endurance sport such as cycling and running. You may still find benefit if you are new to endurance exercise and would like some support on how to progress with your fuelling and hydration strategies and cross-training.
General
We intend to rely on the written terms set out in these terms and conditions for the services that we provide to you in delivery of the membership. These written terms shall constitute the entire agreement between us.
Should there be any conflict between these terms and any membership hosting platform or payment gateway, these terms shall prevail.
We may update these terms and conditions from time to time for legal or regulatory reasons or to allow the proper operation of your service. Any changes will be notified to you as soon as possible.
If any provision or part-provision of these terms and conditions is or becomes invalid, illegal or unenforceable, it shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal and enforceable. If such modification is not possible, the relevant provision or part-provision shall be deemed deleted. Any such modification or deletion shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the rest of these terms and conditions.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. The Courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any matter and proceedings arising out of the Membership.
